It’s, like, almost a book! This is an advance copy of my book, a sample of what will be given to distributors, reviewers, etc, in advance of the book’s release. This version is paperback (final product will be hardback), and adjustments are still being made to the cover, the text, and more, but this is as close as it gets before the final book is produced. It is so fun to hold in my hands!

I am going to preorder tonight. I keep forgetting and I do not want to forget to get this book for sure. I’m as excited as you are Suzanne. Congrats! It’s a lovely cover.

How grand, I’m so glad I preordered, I am so excited. I could just read yours instead.

You know Suzanne, I think of all you had to go through to have that book and for all of your hurts I am sorry, but still I’m excited to be able to read your story as you are a very great writer and even though you are 3,500 miles away I still feel like you are a friend. Be BLESSED

Mine is pre-ordered as well. How exciting.

  11. Anita says:

WHEEEE! I can’t wait! I also can’t remember, when it’s hard-bound is it going to be spiral, so it will lay flat for recipe use?

  12. bonita says:

That is sooo cool—a total ‘book dummy.’ (No offense, that’s what we called them in the olden days!) Great move by Harper. More congrats to Noel.
Last chance to look for oops’s. Worst in my 30+ years: the science, art, and production departments did not notice that Chicago was misspelled on the © page! Thank goodness the initial run was under 500 for adoption review.

  13. Dawn says:

too bad we don’t have a choice – mailing to canada is expensive – hard cover will be heavier than paper back – still – looking forward to getting the book – you have been thru this before – is it still just as exciting or more so because this is your story ? rather than fiction?

  14. rurification says:

    Applause! Congratulations!

It looks so exciting. How do I pre-order? Looking forward to reading it.

  17. GrammieEarth says:

I love the idea of spiral bound for the recipes and the tutorials. Here’s hoping Suzanne or the many people at Harper Collins thought about ease of use 🙂

I’m so looking forward to getting mine, it will work however it’s bound!

  18. jodiezoeller says:

You can pre-order on Amazon. Just search for book title or author.

  19. GrammieEarth says:

I’d have to bet we all have our own way of keeping a book open if need be, though I’d want to find some plastic wrap to protect the pages!

It’s all good! Looking forward to receiving my copy! :snoopy:
