52 brought me this hardware store bag. I peeked inside, expecting something boring, and found–
–more lye to make more soap! The perfect surprise present! I was very excited!

Receiving a bag of Lye would scare me, but having seen your soaps, I can understand why this was a welcome gift. I sure do miss True Value!

52 sounds like a practical kind of man. I bet you appreciate practical gifts that are useful rather than flowers or such. He is definitely a keeper!

That ol’ Romeo! My favorite gift from my husband was a Valentine’s Day present a few years ago: tracks for the skid loader – heavenly!

What a special man! Sounds just like something my hubby would do. He bought me a putty knife one Valentines Day. I am a house painter and was complaining about the shape of our putty knifes so I got my very own. :sun:

One year my husband gave me a fullsize bandsaw for my workshop..just tickled me pink! Flowers are nice, on occasion, but give me something for one of my passions..crafting, woodworking, etc. :snoopy: :snoopy:

Obviously 52 listens to you and knew that you would be as happy as a clam at high tide with soap-making lye. Makes me smile to think of him stopping off at True Value to pick up some lye for “his honey”.

My husband just happened to look over my shoulder as I scrolled down and said, “You can use it to dispose of bodies, too.”
In case your “staff” gets out of hand, maybe?

52 is a keeper. Any man who can go to a hardware store and bring you something you TRULY want is a genius in my book. Wayyyyyyy cool, 52!
