So how do you get bubbles to not burst in all this rain? I hope you are not seeding the clouds with all these bubbles of soap! What happens if the rain drops become super slippery, sliding ever so precariously from these dark clouds overhead? Of course if we get the sky really slathered up with soap bubbles maybe beams of sunshine could slip through! I’m going to find some bubbles.
Or get a bottle of the cheap lemon dishsoap, that makes the prettiest of bubbles!! There is absolutely nothing better for leaving your mind behind type of fun!
Ahhh, bubbles, what a joyous way to spend an afternoon! I haven’t thought of them in a long time. I’ll have to mix up some bubble maker for myself and not wait until that grandchild arrives at the end of the year!!! :purpleflower: :sun:
I think I like bubbles more as an adult than I did as a kid! Maybe I liked them then too but that’s too far back to remember LOL!!! I do remember being afraid to use them all up or spill the bottle! Now I can make me plenty of bubbles with the recipe offered up here. I guess I might share with the grandkids!
Hey, we plan to take the boat to the lake tomorrow! Could you just imagine how fun that would be while relaxing on the water??? I’ll have to get to work on that!!
My 8 year old is a bubbling genius. I’m not kidding. She can spend hours washing her hands and blowing the biggest bubbles in the world. This week I noticed she was refilling her 99 cent bubble tube. She doesn’t recommend a recipe. Just take your empty purple bubble thingy to the kitchen sink, squirt in some dawn dish soap, add some water, and voila – bubbles!
I play with bubbles at least once a day with our dogs. Our Lab leaps through the air, biting at them until the very last one is popped! My little girl loves them too. We take turns playing with the dogs. So fun!

Suzanne, I surprised that you don’t have a home-spun recipe for bubbles. Can’t you whip something up for us?
