I would hate to explain exactly what happened here. It might have involved some chocolate. Or make that a LOT of chocolate.
But Buttercup looks kinda judgmental, don’t you think?

Buttercup, relax, it’s just a candy bar! Sheesh! What side of the bed did YOU get out of? Here sweetie, have some catnip and chill out!

Looks like my father used to when he caught me doing something I wasn’t supposed to.
Maybe that’s why I don’t have any pets. Those looks!

Buttercup didn’t eat any of that chocolate, did he? Because chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats!
Which leaves more for us, of course. 😆

Ah, but at least the…uh, chocolate-eating culprit wasn’t ashamed of eating that chocolate since they left the wrapper out in plain view of the whole world (unlike those of us who have tried to hide the evidence at times ).
Seriously, though, I love that photo, and I wanted to tell you that your recipes are ending up in places you probably wouldn’t have expected. I have a 19-year-old son at college who has learned that it’s less expensive for him to cook than to eat out. I’ve sent him your recipes for home-made hot pockets and also for corn bread when he told me he was trying to bake bread without much success. It’s good to know he’s eating something other than pbj’s all the time. Thanks bunches.

Why is the song “Poor Little Buttercup” playing in my head? For those who don’t know, it’s Gilbert & Sullivan and I’m raising an opera singer who adores cats – she’s the one who saw this and starting singing the song. I hope you shared just a bit of the chocolate with 52 – or is he the one responsible for bringing it in the house?

:cattail: The things that get eaten that no one takes the credit for is astonishing. The little ghosties in my house must be quite fat and happy… :sheepjump: Now I want some chocolate.
