Sometimes, I take a moment, and just sit. And listen. And look. And walk around and see and pet and do. Or not do and just pet.
And I realize it really is that special.
Then I gotta go feed somebody or do the dishes or milk. Or something. But it was a really great moment! (P.S. Guess what Coco’s doing in the corner by the hay.)

This was wonderful! I can’t wait to watch it again when I get up! I’m also going to make sure my daughter sees it, because I think – even though he’s only 18 months old – my grandson will love it!
Thank you. And Coco? I hope she’s not looking for eggs – probably making her own nest!!!

Darlene in North GA says:
She’s sucking a batch of eggs! Naughty puppy. Time to inject a syringe full of hot sauce into a couple of them and leave them for her to find. That will normally do the trick and breaking her of that bad habit.

It looked to me like Coco was nesting. What’s up with that?

What a great and noisy video. Here, sitting in my office of my city apartment, I wondered at the loudness of life there. And when the turkeys chimed in, my cat went crazy….only with the turkeys. Funny how he reacted to just one type of animal in the video!

I bet Coco was eating either chicken poo or eggs. Both make her a naughty puppy! lol

That single rooster’s crow was pitiful. I love when our roosters were just starting to crow. Made us laugh every time. I wish you had gotten a still shot of the lamb in the grass. That would make a great wallpaper for the computer.
I vote that Coco is eating poo, also. That’s what my dog always does in the coop. Apparently it’s “delish”!

Uh oh, Coco! Unless you are finding them and then fetching them to Suzanne you are gonna be in big trouble! Wish the injecting them with hot sauce would work on other chickens and crows! My dogs don’t touch them but sometimes the other hens do….and a crow was spotted flying out of the coop with an egg yesterday!

Lovely, I think that looks more like Virginia and home than Oregon does. The geese are growing nicely. Looks like they are very healthy and happy.
When my dog hunted eggs she brought IT to me and never did it again. She hunts rats in the chicken house so I thought it might have been a rat. No the chicken house isn’t dirty and No I don’t let them stay aroun. I have a ratter dog!!!

When that rooster first crowed, two of my kitties jumped a foot. They were both napping. Why is it so much fun to scare napping kitties?
Is Coco fetching or snacking?

Loved the video. But it totally freaked my house-cats out. One dived under the bed the other went in hunter mode. I’m bad I played it twice just to watch her hunt (can’t let her out in the city). Second time the other cat came out to investigate too.
