Above: Booksigning at Barnes and Noble yesterday. Starting on the right and moving left, that’s Emilie Rose in the pink on the far right end of the table. I’m seated to the left of Emilie. Do I look as if I’m about to hit that woman standing in front of me? Next to the left is Virginia Kantra, then Sabrina Jeffries, Cindy Holby, and Cynthia Cooke at the far left end. Right: The Beast on store shelves!)
Above: Emilie Rose and Cynthia Cooke, who discovered they were both wearing the exact same blouse! Right: Sabrina Jeffries holding up the page with her name on the latest USA Today list!
Above: Claudia Dain. Right: Emilie Rose with Candy Halliday.

Long, fun day! I’m so tired now!

I’m an hour away from the city which has
one bookstore-Coles. Even Wal-Mart there does not carry books. Anyone feeling sorry for me yet? hehe:cry:

Great pictures, Suzane! The signing looks like a hoot, and like everybody else, I’m green with envy over Cynthia’s office. Maybe I’ll borrow that picture to hold under my husband’s nose. “Look, honey. She has a fabulous office and she’s published. Coincidence? I think not.”
Think he’ll buy it?:fryingpan:

Thanks for sharing the lovely photos, Suzanne. I guess whenever you get a bunch of writers and/or readers together, you’re bound to have fun.
Cynthia’s office looks great. I wish I had all that space and especially the actual cabinets. What I wouldn’t give not to have to dust my books or have mice and sundry other pests get at them.
And you partied too much, did you? Hope you have a well-deserved rest.

I’m sorry you haven’t got the book yet, Robyn. Where do you live? Coles sounds like Canada somewhere. Too bad it’s even more expensive to have books sent to you. Hope you’re able to get your copy soon.
I just finished BEAST and really enjoyed it. It’s different from a lot of other books in that Suzanne puts a lot of emphasis on the emotions and feelings and lets the characters talk about them. I could really feel the pain and confusion they felt around each other. However, it didn’t stop there. There was also the action as it affected the two. Very well done.:guitar:

Enjoyed all the pictures.
Boy, the authors showing up in identical blouses brought back memories. I once was invited to an ultra-fancy wedding, to I went to an exclusive dress shop and bought a special dress, paying far more than I usually would have. At the wedding reception, a lady walks up to me in the self-same dress and, trying to be nice, said, “It looks better on you.” I did end up getting some wear out of the dress later and, luckily, never ran into anyone else wearing the same dress.
