And, it is never to early to decorate for Halloween (aka Angie’s second favorite holiday of the year) Our decorations go up this weekend. My birthday is Oct 29th, so we just stretch it out to encompass the 31st! A three day celebrate-a-thon!! 😉
I decorate for every occasion, including but not limited to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, St Patricks Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and birthdays! :rolleyes:

I don’t usually decorate for Halloween but probably will this year as my new granddaughter is here. I plan to visit my daughter that week as she and her hubby are going to the Marine Corp Ball. I get to babysit my grandsons but will need help this year. My daughter-in-law and the baby are going with me since I can’t drive for a while. I am so looking forward to that. I do the decorating for most other holidays. Keeps my spirits up. Have a great day and Hugs:wave:

We’ve done a bit of decorating. Pumpkin lights have been up since middle of last month. Will probably put more up after thanksgiving this weekend. 😀

Great pumpkins! My brother the football coach would LOVE the pumpkin one.
We don’t really decorate much here. We never get trick-or-treaters where we live and have never seen the need to decorate just for us. We do occassionally carve pumpkins and put out Christmas lights at Christmas.

My place is decorated in horror motif all year round. All I need is a jack-o-lantern. (Christmas is interesting around here with my skeletons and spiders decorated with tinsel and christmas stuff..maybe I’ll get a santa suit and put it on my life sized skeleton this year)

I decorated a lot more when my kids were around. I only have a 19 yr. old left at home right now but I still pull out some of my decorations and even wear a witches outfit while passing out the candy

I used to decorate for Halloween when my kids were smaller. I used to do the windows and have a whole lot of Halloween ceramics that I made. But since the kids and grandchildren are not here anymore, I don’t think I will do the decorating this year…….

I’m budget decorating this year with the white plastic ghosts stuffed with tissue that hang from trees with twist ties.
I’ve lost three to high winds and one to a missing twist tie.
And a giant plastic pumpkin stuffed with packing paper from the boxes I’m still trying to unpack. The ones that have the official halloween decorations hidden inside. The ones I’m certain to find next month.

I used to decorate a lot more for all the holidays but since I’ve been living in an apartment, I don’t decorate as much. I always hated taking everything down. I love seeing how other people have decorated.
There is one street down where my parents live where every house decorates for Christmas. They also sell hot chocolate, have carollers and a food bank bin cause they now they get a lot of visitors.
