  1. Jill says:

I need a cousin Georgia!! Think she’d adopt me?

  2. Mary says:

I miss North Carolina a lot. I love spring in Winston Salem.

  3. Shelly says:

Absolutely! I still miss my parents place. The quietness of it, the close family, the security of it. I love house sitting for them when they go on vacation — except for the pesky ghost…. 😯

  4. Peggie says:

I miss my home town quite often.
I was shocked at how much I missed Disney Land after we returned from family vacation a few years back.
They must pump happy gas into the air there.:bananadance:

  5. Marcy says:

I miss my Grandmother’s ‘bumpy’ road. Even though they paved it many years ago, we always knew we were close when we got to that road and the anticipation of seeing the farmhouse in the valley was strong. We’d pull into the farm through a tree covered drive and watch for Grandma to smile and wave at us from the kitchen window. *sigh*

  6. Sharon says:

I miss a lot of places πŸ˜₯ My grandmother’s house, the house I grew up in, the entire state of Tennessee πŸ˜₯

  7. Melissa Marsh says:

I’m actually missing the farm right now – I’m thinking of taking a trip in a few days. I’ve just got the feeling that it’s time to “go home” for awhile. πŸ™‚

  8. Lynn Daniels says:

If you can’t, then I’m a real weirdo because I miss Yellowstone  like crazy. So do my kids.

  9. raine says:

My Grandmother’s house in the mountains of Virginia.
Clean air, pure ice-cold water, and the blissful silence of the country.
    …sigh…

  10. Kelly says:

I used to miss my hometown, now I’m back and believe me, I don’t miss it as much anymore! πŸ˜†

  11. Melissa says:

I miss Saratoga Springs, New York.

    I miss Virginia Beach, Virginia.

    I miss the 80’s! :hissyfit: πŸ˜†

  12. Mechele Armstrong says:

    Good eats!

I miss my grandparent’s farm. Could go in the garden pick a warm tomato and eat it off the vine. *sigh*

  13. Maureen says:

When my parents moved I definitely missed the home we grew up in since it was our home and their new home is their home.

  14. Tori says:

I miss Tucson, the Supersition Mountains near Phoenix, the Colorado Rockies.

  15. Tori says:

    Er… SupersTition Mountains.

  16. Amy K. says:

I miss the Rocky Mountains, and I need a frequent ocean fix (which being in the geographical middle of the country is not easy to remedy!)

  17. Danica says:

well, those of you who miss the rocky mountains can come visit me anytime. πŸ™‚

I miss hearing about the holler. πŸ™‚

  18. Beth C says:

Tori took my! The Superstition Mountains, plus Sedona, plus the Grand Canyon. I’ve never lived in Arizona, but I have visited many times. Heaven.

  19. Danni says:

Mmmm I love farm fresh produce! And as well known as the midwest is for corn, I discovered in August when I was in Virginia that the sweetest, most tenderful-wonderful corn is on the East coast. Mmm Mmm good!

  20. Mik says:

Visiting my parent’s place in the East Texas (Hughes Springs, if you blinked, you missed it). The peace, the serenity. Listening to the frogs and crickets and coyotes howling in the distance at night. Going on nature walks. Yeah.. I totally miss that place. It’s still in the family, but it’s never been the same after he passed away.

  21. Eve says:

No particular place, but I’d like to go to Shelly’s parents house – I like ghosts!

  22. MartyK says:

I miss college…I went to two colleges. Weird as this combo sounds, I miss the one in Detroit more than the one in Arkansas.

  23. Michelle says:

    Those tomatoes look wonderful!!:hyper:

  24. Estella says:

I really enjoued hearing about your Trip and the pict:hyper:ures were great!

  25. Anna Lucia says:

Luckily, the place I most often miss is exactly where I live. The Lake District. When we go on holiday, however much we enjoy ourselves, I still love to come home. Sometimes when I’ve been away on less fun things than holidays, I cry when the mountains come back into view.

It was home for a long time before I actually lived here.

  26. TeresaH says:

The mountains, I definitely miss going to the mountains!!!

  27. kacey says:

Man, I vote with Amy. I miss the Rocky mountains, and I need a frequent stare at the ocean fix.

  28. Margery Scott says:

Hm, I’ve never lived anywhere long enough to miss it when I move on. Maybe when I leave here, I’ll miss it. Somehow, I doubt it though.

  29. Robyn says:

I am missing my parents’home right now.
Mom passed away 2 yrs. and 1 month ago and we just buried Dad on Sat. the 10th. No more home to go to will be sad, only memories from now on. and πŸ™‚

  30. Cherlyn says:

It’s silly. But the house my family lived in when I was like 5 and 6 years old. I’ve always thought about it over the years.
