  1. Courtney says:

So if they hatch, will they be cats with wings?

  2. whaledancer says:

ROFL. Just call her Chicken Little.

  3. Liesl says:

And she didn’t break any….? What DO you feed your chickens? Too cute.

  4. Nancy in Iowa says:

    A little confused, isn’t he?

  5. kathy says:

So did any of them break? You know cats and baskets, there’s just no keeping them out.

  6. Grammie Earth says:

Too funny! Maybe Broody Chicken Little is trying to help you get ready for the party by staying out of your way! Have a great day tomorrow, wish I could be there.

    Pam

  7. Deborah R says:

I think Little believes that she’s going to hatch some kitty playmates. Little must be lonely!

  8. Rose H says:

That’s a really sweet photo, Little is such a beautiful cat. I think Little spends too much time with the hens though!
:chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken: :chicken:

  9. Karen Patrick says:

So cute. Cats just can’t resist an open container of any kind.

  10. lauren says:

hahaha ๐Ÿ˜† I love it, shes been watching too much chicken TV with yall in the evenings!!

  11. Sue Nugent says:

:snuggle: Oh, those cats!I could tell stories and show mine daily. The things they do!It’s like watching the grandchildren. They keep us in stitches with laughter watching their every move.

  12. Sandra in SC says:

Little is so cute! Hope none of the eggs broke! I had a cat who used to curl up in the funniest places….bathroom sink, any basket, paper grocery bags.

  13. Shannon says:

That’s a calender picture right there!

  14. Mary says:

That photo could win a prize.

  15. Patrice says:

Freshly washed and then dried by the cat. Too funny! My egg baskets are full past the brim and the chickens try to jump into them if you aren’t careful. Since we sell them, we can’t afford to lose eggs. I guess you could use the cat in the place of an incubator or a broody hen! :chicken:

  16. Minna says:

Well, I once read about this chicken who was babysitting kittens while their mom was away. Maybe Little wants some baby chicks to look after! :chicken:

  17. ellen mcbryde says:

Cats are so odd..they love to curl up in the strangest places.

  18. Runningtrails - Sheryl says:

Oh, so this is where Catbirds come from!

  23. Cheryl says:

She’s been around the chickens WAY too much ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. BrendaE says:

That’s so sweet – I just love Little.

  25. Mary Kellogg says:

Aw, but mooooooom, isn’t this were kittens come from? I’m tryin’ to hatch these darn eggs so I can have some kittenbabies!

  26. Leanna says:

Awwww, I miss having a cat. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through yours!

  27. Rachel says:

Aw! I’ve never seen a broody cat before! Yes I’m sure it was a little irritating, but such a “kodak moment” nonetheless!

  28. ~Andrea~ says:

Is he hoping they’ll hatch? What kitten wouldn’t want their own chicks to play with!

    : )

  29. Imperious Fig says:

Too funny! Little must be related to my cat Tarzan. I went to check for eggs the other day and found a hen sitting on top of Tarzan in the nesting box. It looked like she was trying to “hatch” him.

  30. Ramona says:

LOL…I have a couple of pictures like that with my cats trying to hatch eggs.

    Cute picture!

  31. trish c says:

That is too cute! It does look really uncomfortable though!!

  32. Anne says:

Suzanne, I noticed in another picture that you keep your eggs in a basket on the counter. Are those just the eggs you plan on using for the day or do you generally not refrigerate your eggs? How long can you keep eggs out without them going bad?

  33. Barbee' says:

I agree with Trish c. That couldn’t! be comfortable. Cute though. Funny cat!

  34. Ivy says:

Isn’t it funny how cats love confined and high places?

  35. farmershae says:

Little is either crazy or desperate to be a mommy. I vote for both!!

  36. rileysmom says:

Cats are nature’s free entertainment! We don’t have any cats right now, but everytime I visit the neighbor, who always has some cute kittens, I’m laughing at their antics! :happyflower:

  37. Lynne says:

    A Little adorable!

  38. Luann says:

Oh, too funny. Maybe Little thinks she is a chicken?! :snoopy:

  39. Debbie Little says:

Too cute!! My cats love to lay on top of the warm laundry in the clothes basket!!

  40. Ann says:

    ๐Ÿ˜† Thats so cute.

    Trying to “hatch” them. ๐Ÿ˜†

  43. Lisa says:

  (That smiley just had to be attached to this post, hee hee.)

  44. Shar says:

Maybe this is Little’s version of a hen mothering puppies! Maybe Little feels there’s a motive and there could be some little chicks to play with!

    CUTE!
