Annabelle in the Grass

Posting is going to be a bit spotty this week. If you’ve been around here long, you know that I post twice a day every weekday and often on weekends (at least once on weekends if not twice), on holidays and even if I’m on vacation, so if I say posting is going to be spotty and it’s the middle of the week, please know that I’m monumentally overwhelmed. This is the last week of school here, the week of graduation, the week of getting Weston off to WVU for orientation, the week of getting both Morgan and Weston ready to go away for the summer, and I appear to be the secretary, manager, chauffeur, director, payroll officer, and circus clown. Is it Friday yet?

Anyway! Meanwhile, please enjoy June’s free desktop wallpaper, if you like! Find it here. Click on the Desktop Wallpaper button and follow the directions from there. IT’S FREE.

And don’t even get me started on my month-long odyssey to get Morgan her learners permit, which ultimately failed, after numerous trips between here and the high school and the DMV. DON’T GET ME STARTED.

I need some homemade Calgon.

Being head farmer, head parent, head blogger is an almost impossible task– especially during times of transition! WE UNDERSTAND! DMV is difficult everywhere. In NC, the electronic machines cut off at 5pm, even if someone is mid-test. Their hours are especially problematic for young drivers who don’t want to skip classes to take the test.

Do what you need to do so that you will be enthused and ready to keep bringing us this great blog.

  4. Barbee says:

No problem here. We will be thinking about you. Been there, done that, and so glad it’s your turn for a while and not mine. 😉

  5. DB says:

Take all the time you need. Most of us have been there, done (most of) that, and we’ll be here when you get back!
