You know, examining bee-hinds. Along with “riding” each other (which they have started doing), a swollen vulva and some discharge are also signs of heat. So far, the riding is not to standing heat yet. Standing heat means they will stand for the riding attempt, not walk away.
I was doing a starting point check on their vulvas yesterday, to help me see the difference between normal and swollen.

Just to clarify, in reading back my post. The interesting and the “I would have never seen that. Not terrible looking either.” referred to the cow’s vulva’s……not the flatbread. The flatbread picture was not shocking and I do hope to replicate.
