I made these muffins yesterday. You need these muffins. I think they’re the best banana muffins I’ve ever made. The recipe called for four bananas, but I had five (old, dying) bananas, so I used five, and I baked them in mini muffin pans. Using mini muffin pans, the recipe made over 2 1/2 dozen.
They’re very moist and crazy delicious.
You can find the recipe here: Banana Muffins with Streusel Topping. (Posted on Farm Bell Recipes by Faith.) She had me at streusel topping.

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

How long do you bake the mini-muffins? Dr. has me on diet but maybe if I take them to work I’ll only try one.

Martha, the mini muffins take a little less time, about 12-15 minutes.

I made these wonderful muffins that day you posted them. I was reading your blog late late that night, so was baking around two in the morning. Happy, but a little bleary eyed, I baked them up and found that I had neglected to add the butter, as it was still in the microwave. They were still delicious! I put in I don’t know how many bananas, as I had them mashed and frozen in the freezer. My family informed me that they were extremely moist! More bananas, no butter, for you people on weight watchers! Live it up a little! The streusel topping was awesome. Best muffins ever. Thank you Suzanne.
