You are ahead of us in North Alabama. The rain won’t stop long enough for the ground to dry out to plant. LOL I don’t even want to hear about a drought this summer, it has done nothing but rain since January.

I am so jealous!!! We have been way too cold here to think about planting I am so ready fo the plants to go in, probably a couple more weeks.

If I could only remember to water the plants, I would grow tomatoes as my first choice. Other things are a priority when I get home at 6:30 or 7pm from the office. Good luck with the tomato plants. I love ripe ones and fried green tomatoes too. I would also plant okra, black-eyed peas, green beans, yellow squash and some herbs.

We have had frost the last 2 nights here in my part of Wv. Had to cover everything.

I planted corn and beans, potatoes and peppers yesterday. Normally we would no plant until June 1st. But I have been watching the weather and think we’ll be good here. I have beets up also. No tomatoes in yet but soon. Have a great day all.

OK, rub it in already you guys. It is still COLD here in the Chicago area. (Just why don’t you have a gravatar with a coat shivering!) Last year Lake Michigan never got warm enough for us to use our beach passes. We hardly had a summer. Hope this isn’t going to be the same kind of year. How come climate change seems to make it so the fronts drop down from the Artic on us.
