Spicy Chicken Pups!

This recipe is based on my hush puppies recipe. I doubled the recipe and used a cup of diced chicken and a cup of diced jalapenos plus a tablespoon of crushed red peppers. Morgan said it was awesome! Score! (And she doesn’t LIKE hush puppies, so nobody tell her.)

Fry a shoe and it would be edible, but this looks really good! Did you have a dip with it?

Suzann, I make a dressing for my taco salad that would be a good dip for these chickpups as well, my Hubby likes it with warm tortilla chips or doritos as well. I start with sour cream (low fat is ok) mix in chunky salsa as hot or mild as you like, and cumin, I dont do amounts, just to taste. It is like a dressing that Chi-Chi’s used back in the 80’s. It is always popular when I take it to a get together.
It is also good with a big baked potato, fries or onion rings.
