I couldn’t find the equine contingency yesterday when I was making barn updates, but here they are! Standing in the upper field, watching me as I head to their shelter and feeding station with their morning hay. Shortcake (center) takes off first–she has shown herself as the leader, always eating before anyone else. Zip and Poky don’t get to eat until she’s satisfied. There’s plenty of room for all three at the feeder at once, but…. Shortcake doesn’t allow it. Morgan calls her Sausage….
