Silly ducks.
If they see me in the front yard, they’ll come running out of the barn yard and up the driveway and onto the lawn.
In case maybe I was going to feed them or something.
See who’s waiting for them back in the barn yard, not wasting his energy on a dry run?
The supervisor! He knows they only get fed in the barn yard. He’ll get those ducks trained up right eventually!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

What do you feed your ducks? We got a couple of Indian Runners and I was just wondering what was the best thing to feed them. Right now they eat bugs (of course) and layer crumble. Thanks
