Hot Winter Getaways

This is what my road looked like, in a cell phone photo, the other day. Please be impressed that I was driving. And not even in tears!!!! Just mildly panicked…..

If your road looks like that, or even if it doesn’t, you can escape to the sun! I contribute to Chevy Culture, a lifestyle and auto site sponsored by Chevrolet. Please click through for the full article on Chevy Culture: Hot Winter Getaways.

FYI…Isla Grand Beach Resort link is not working from my part of the world. Good article nonetheless :)

Suzanne! Is that pic from the front or back window (maybe Morgan shot it aimed at the back, looks like the hood of a car though)? I can’t imagine driving on that road in the snow without a clear windshield! I would have been crying, especially if the 4-wheel drive wasn’t working! :dancingmonster:

    Hey, you did it though!!!

Chevy’s Isla Grand Beach. . . link not working here, either (Safari 5.1.7, Mac 10.6.8)
By the way, how many of these art’s do you need to write before they will send you a 2014 Corvette Stingray to test on WV country roads?

The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
