Casper looks mighty fine as my laptop wallpaper. Dogs and cats really know the value of a good stretch. Thank you for sharing Casper’s pix.
I hope that more pledges come into your Kickstarter project as the hours count down to “funded”. Then you would have some extra for odds and ends for your studio. I know you will breath a sigh of relief when it’s all said and done.
Enjoy your visit with Ross, Weston and Weston’s girlfriend (her name escapes me just now).

  3. KellyWalkerStudios says:

No negative thoughts now. You are there. You are funded. We are all with you all the way. You’ve done it! Now repeat after me….I’m funded; I’ve done it; my friends love and support me and my projects!!!

  4. kellytorrey says:

    We’ve got your back!

  5. Diane says:

Keeping you in my prayers!! Wish I could do more than that. I am feeling the money crunch here also. But I am with you!!! I know you got the funding. πŸ™‚

Casper makes a great Wallpaper. πŸ˜‰ He is a neat dog. I feel sad Coco is not coming home this weekend. Sounds like the vets do know what is best for her and doing all they can to get her back to normal with that leg. HUGS for the giant puppy. I miss her too.

  6. djbrown says:

You are there! But we can wait a few hours for the group happy dance…

:dancingmonster: I’ll practice now! πŸ™‚ :dancingmonster:

  7. KarenAnne says:

Why is it that Coco can’t come home with a splint, if you take her back for periodic rechecks?

Maybe you could spend the three hours with her today at the vet’s instead of worrying about kickstarter πŸ™‚

    • Suzanne McMinn says:

KarenAnne, they won’t send animals home with a splint–that is their policy. The vet said it causes too many problems, that people often don’t limit the activity of their animals properly and the splints get broken or the animals hurt themselves, etc. Unfortunately, they won’t make a special case for individuals. It’s just their policy and that’s that. They won’t put the splint on her if I take her home. Since they aren’t charging me extra for that, I believe that is what they believe is in her best interest. (And I certainly don’t want to change her care to a different vet at this point, even if a different one would let me take her home with a splint.) I would love to go see her today, but I’m getting ready to move cows.

  8. Murphala says:

Almost exactly three hours until it’s set in stone. :sun2:
I’ll watching for your ecstatic, over the moon post when it’s finally a done deal. In the meantime, I’ll nervously putter and probably bake or pickle something in celebration!

  9. Karen Patrick says:

Virtually holding your hand! I’m sure everything will be fine.

  10. Jane L says:

Suzanne, it’s a shame that you must repeat yourself so often! KarenAnne, the previous post (Count down with me) had all the details regarding why Coco could not come home. Might I suggest you spend an hour catching up BEFORE you put a rude comment on anothers blog. Maybe you didn’t mean it to be rude, but it came across that way – smiley face or no smiley face.

  11. Michelle B says:

One hour to go…you’re gonna make it, and I could simply not be more excited for you!!! :moo:

  12. AngelaS says:

OOOO-It’s getting so close. Since you can’t hug Coco at 11:38, Ill hug th fat Moose and Stinky for you instead! :purpleflower:

  13. CarrieJ says:

I can’t believe it keeps going UP! 30 minutes and counting from WA State. I can’t wait to pick out my photos. I’m going to frame them and hang them in my office at work πŸ™‚

  14. CarrieJ says:

Oh KarenAnne…here is not the place for that. Don’t read just the Coco blogs, read ALL of her blogs. She has more empathy for animals and more knowledge than half the people I know. You are showing your ignorance. Today is a special day for all of us…Coco is fine and getting all the attention she needs.

  15. Jane L says:

I am literally crying (well, very moist anyway;) with happiness for you! I so enjoy coming here every day and am glad that we (your readers) can collaborate with you on this project! This is just fantastic.

  16. bonita says:

    four minutes!
    squeezing your hand
using other hand to get a hold of champagne bottle

  17. GrammieEarth says:

MERE MINUTES NOW!!! So happy for you Suzanne

I’m hoping GB is not acting like herself on her way to SarahGrace’s farm! <–Hug Hug

None of us want to see Coco away from her humans. What we do want is for her to return to Sassafras Farm, healthy and healed so she can get back to work. She has a young'un to teach too! The no extra boarding charges says that the vet's in charge are doing what they became vets for…helping animals. Good for them!

  18. UlrikeDG says:

    3, 2, 1, 0!!! You’re there, baby!

  19. mollyclaire says:

yay!!! you did it! I’m so excited for you, Suzanne!

  20. Wendy says:

And the turn around starts NOW for good things to happen at Sassafras Farm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Barbee says:

Yippeee! It’s true! It really happened! Congratulations, S. :snoopy:

  22. GrammieEarth says:

    SUCCESSFUL! YAYYY!!!!!

    SO excited for you! :chef:

Today’s theme song is “Looks Like We Made It.” Congratulations, Suzanne.

  25. thistlewoodmanor says:

I just got an email from Amazon payments saying that a payment has been made to CITR on my credit card…..woohoo, that means it’s a go! I’m so excited for you. And thank you also for introducing me to kickstarter; I plan to use it to fund a project of my own soon.

  26. Dottie says:

CONGRATULATIONS !!! I’m so happy for you.
I’m so excited. Looking forward to following
along and watching the Studio turn into a
    beautiful new functional kitchen.

Good Luck moving the girls. Hopefully they
will cooperate and it will be a smooth move.

  27. PinkyMac says:

I just checked and as of 7 minutes ago you are funded! Congratulations!!
The happy dance is on πŸ˜€

  28. KarenAnne says:

    JaneL and CarrieJ,

I am so sorry you’re illiterate. If you had read the previous blogs, as I had, you’d know Suzanne had not said why the vet had prohibited Coco from coming home with a splint.

But cheer up, ignorance and nastiness doesn’t last forever – I’m sure there’s hope for you snots.

  29. sophanne says:

Congratulations blog friend. I had a big smile on my face when that amazon payment came to my email!

  30. KarenAnne says:

    Wow, CarrieJ and JaneL,

So I’m “ignorant” and “rude” for asking a question that wasn’t answered in the previous posts? Nice. You’re both a credit to the group here. At least my parents taught me some manners.
