She’s still alive!

And so is he!

He’s a little dirty right there.

They are the best of friends. She is bigger than him, and a few days older, and he just hops around the yard after her like she is a magnet.

I’ve been wondering what happened to the little lambs. I’m so glad to hear that they are doing well. They’re really cute. I love the way sheep hop around so a video really would be great.

He’s so cute! Little boys are often a little dirty. It’s only natural.

Remind me again why you can’t keep both of them.

We find it difficult to sell wool. Unless you’re willing (and have the time) to put in the time to process it (and it’s quite a job, when you’re talking about numerous fleeces, to take them from the raw state to something processed enough to be worth good money), raw wool sells very cheaply (if you can sell it). The pasture and feed consumed by an adult ram (which this boy lamb will be before you know it) is far more expensive than the value of the wool he’d be making. We don’t need another ram, and we have limited resources pasture-wise (and money-wise). We really can’t afford to keep him, unfortunately. If we could afford it and had enough land to support them, I’d want to keep every baby born on the farm, LOL.

Absolutely adorable! I would love to see a video of them too.Why couldn’t you neuter the boy and keep him for wool?

I was so pleased to see this posting today. I feel a good name for the boy would be “Rambo”.
No preference in re the “puppy’s” name. They are all wonderful.
