Magical Creatures

I’m amazed every day when I see the lambs in the meadow. I love the way they run after their mothers as if they might die if they’re separated by more than a step. I love how they sound when they cry. Each morning, I look hopefully for the Cotswolds to see if they have created any more of these magical creatures. So far, I’m still waiting…

Ah yes, all a part o the magic of springtime! The little lambs must be the absolute best part! They are so sweet AND you have more to come. You are a lucky lady! Enjoy the magic!

I would have to be out there playing with them and cuddling them every day! They are so sweet!

What great coloring, they truly do look magical. We won’t be having any babies this year. We didn’t get anyone bred, but looking forward to next year.

  5. Phyllis says:

You’ll be taking plenty of pics, I’m sure, as these magical creatures grow and become frisky and playful. Do I see a ‘NAME CONTEST’ in the near future? Will they have magical names also??

  6. NorthCountryGirl says:

Your stories remind me of the James Herriot books…this descriptions of the countryside dotted with sheep and their new babies. You should write your own version of “All Creatures Great and Small.”

  7. Carol Langille says:

James Herriot was my favorite writer….I read everything he wrote and laughed and cried all the way through every single book. Suzanne’s version of “All Creatures Great and Small” would be “All Critters, Big and Little” since she lives out in the beautiful country of West Virginia!

Now if that isn’t the cutest thing! Cute as a kitten!

  12. Grace Reynolds says:

The babies are just adorable! There are lambs and baby goats springing up on the farms around here and they romp and play like there’s no tomorrow. Cute, cute. Would love to have one of my very own. You are so lucky to get to play with them!

  13. Yankee Gal says:

:sun: Awwwwww. I just want to fluff up that fabulous fur on her forehead and bury my face in neck for a minute. What a sweet little monkey face.

  14. Julie says:

What breed was the mother sheep?

  15. Michele Messier says:

They are so sweet especially new babies. I am so happy for you!! :sun:

  16. Sandra in SC says:

    What a precious baby!!!!

  17. Amber says:

I can’t wait to see what you are going to name them. :sheep:

  18. Darlene in North Georgia says:

Names! Names! They NEED names! Right now they all are just LAMBS. Just a GROUP. But they need to be respected. They need to be INDIVIDUALS. Ask Clover, she’ll tell you. But you’ll have to PAY her. We work for free. Or BBB’s. Or a candle. Or a bar of soap. Or…, ok we take cookies too. But don’t mention that to Clover! She might come hurt us.
