Morgantown Charlie

Morgan texted me yesterday: “Heads up. We got a new dog.” I texted her back that WE most certainly did not get a new dog, and she told me his name was Charlie and that he was adorable. She said she found him in the middle of the highway and not near any houses. She was on her way to her boyfriend’s house, where she put a cat harness on him and a pink leash then brought him home. He has really short legs, by the way. Reminded me of dachshund legs. But he looks like a lab otherwise. Do you know if you cross a dachshund and a lab it’s called a dachsador? I don’t know if he’s really a dachsador. Maybe somebody can figure that out in Morgantown, where he’s going, because I’m calling him Morgantown Charlie.

The short-legged evidence:

Because when she goes back to WVU in the fall, she better be taking Charlie with her!

Charlie is adorable, I would take hime in a heartbeat, Precious may become attached to him too. It will give her someone to play with.

Charlie is very adorable. Friends of mine have a dog that looks very much like him. He is a yellow lab/corgi mix.

Oh, I don’t know. Charlie might like living in the countryside way too much. :snoopy: Like my neighbour’s ex-girl friend’s cat. The cat no longer wanted to live in a town once he had gotten a taste of freedom of the countryside and the ex-girl friend had to take him back to my neighbour.

I have a “Bassador” – Lab-Basset mix. Jed is the second one I have had and they have both been great dogs.

He’s too cute! I think this may be the first time in a long while I’ve seen Precious ‘naked’. :woof:

I was showing my Hubby a photo of Charlie, the one where he and Precious are looking out of the door, is there anything cuter than “puppy butt”? I think not!
Suzanne, the first time he climbs up onto your lap and give you a sweet kissy, you will be hooked.

Has a vet scanned him for a microchip, to see if he belongs to someone?

I’m glad Morgan rescued him before he got hit by a car. He’s very cute. I think he would be a good companion for Precious.

Sounds like everyone is attempting to tell you, you have a new boy. Precious may think so also. He is quite adorable and I wouldn’t blame you if you kept him. :snoopy:

If he isn’t the cutest little fellow ever. Look at those feet! What a great friend for Precious. How thoughtful of Morgan! (heh heh heh)
