New Additions

I’ve been busy this week expanding my “little store” to include sugar scrubs and lotions! I’ve started making them in matching scents to my candles and soaps. This weekend will be the experiment to see if they sell. I enjoy experimenting in my little studio store. If people like it, I keep making it. If they don’t like it, I change it or stop making it, depending. Market-oriented, I am!

Two words for a new future: Online Sales.
PS: It’s good to see you regularly again. Life has that habit of getting in the way, doesn’t it? I’ve missed you.

I’ve thought about setting up an Etsy. I’m just scared it would overwhelm me to start yet another thing!

Would love to learn to make the lotion and scrubs. Do you have posts on making those? I don’t remember seeing them. Your store looks good. I hope you sell out this weekend. :) I am enjoying all the new posts. You always encourage me to try new things. Have a great weekend.

I’m also scared it would overwhelm you to start another thing! But, it is something to think about. Can you do that when your not so busy with workshops & retreats?

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
