A Sight to Behold!

It’s been over two weeks since I’ve seen the ground. That’s a long time for snow to stay on the ground non-stop here. Usually, it snows, melts, snows, melts. There’s green grass sightings in between. The past couple of weeks, the temperatures were so consistently low, the snow just stayed and stayed and STAYED. But today, I think it’s leaving! It’s going to be 50. Then yes, we’re going to have another cold spell and some snow, but I don’t think too much.

It’s March. MARCH.

In the Chicago suburbs, Friday 34, Saturday 41, and Sunday 39 for our temperatures. We should be seeing some grass soon. At this point I would settle for seeing dirt/mud. Anything other than snow. Come On Spring!

We were hoping for some thawing, but it does not look like we will be getting very much, the rain we are forcasted will turn back to snow tomorrow could be up to 8-9 inches. I give up!

One of the local weathermen here in CT said he was seriously thinking we will still have snow piles in June here. It’s been a horrid winter!

I guess we just have to wait and see how much snow we get, Suzanne. One local station says 2-4 inches, another says 4-6 inches, the Weather Channel says 5-8! I don’t know what to believe!! :hole:

Wish I could give. you some smokeless weather from Oregon. We haven’t had snow and almost NO cold since November. We froze so much in November I thought we would have an awful winter but it just never came. Praying it gets better for all of you soon.

Here in Maine I haven’t seen the ground since before Christmas!! Really looking foward to mud season. They are saying 45 degrees today! Then back in the low 20’s for tomorrow 😕 Our goat babies will be born over the next several weeks so I am hoping for a warmer March than last year.
