Holy smokes, you got a lot of snow!

But you still have power and internet, that’s fabulous. How’s the water situation?

Stay warm and safe, Suzanne :sheep:

18 inches here. It is so hard to walk in! Dread cleaning off our vehicles. We have a gravel driveway, so it’s going to be interesting trying to get out, even though we’re on flat ground.

So pretty to look at—for a while, but it gets old very quickly, I am have to see you still have power and the animals are well protected. Is there a warm up in the near future that might start the melting process?

Beautiful to look at but a farmer never rests! All my WV relatives had 12 to 16 inches yesterday. I had to be happy with 2 inches in southern middle Tennessee. Suzanne, please stay safe and warm.

    Suzanne,

Thanks for getting these great pics to share! I’m here in Maine, where for once we AREN’T the ones getting the heavy snow. Thanks for taking a turn down there! Stay safe, bake something yummy,
and snuggle up with your honey. Baby, it’s cold outside! :)

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
