Things Change Fast

This morning, when I posted that it was just raining here? Yeah. That’s changed.

We’re in for a new coating of snow. We had some warm temps this weekend, which was a nice but very brief break in the polar weather. The rain overnight finished off melting two weeks’ worth of snow. But now it’s back……

Guess the schools remain closed for a good reason – and administrative types that keep up to date on things like the weather.

. . . unlike the folks in the Atlanta area

I was wondering how you had no snow. It started last night in Wood county and has continued all morning. It is still snowing the heavy wet stuff. We have about 6 inches already. I have to get taller boots and get the water buckets ready. Thank goodness I don’t have cows, just goats and chickens. No inside water troubles just a frozen outdoor spigot. Come on spring! I need to go to town but I AM NOT GOING DOWN MY ROAD! Congrats on selling Stringtown.

We have another storm moving in later today, so off to the stores for milk and eggs and the hardware store for bird seed. Sounds like the whole gambit rain, freezing rain and snow–could be 8-10 inches, but what are you going to do, can’t change the past and you can’t change the weather, so we deal with it.

Here in PA it rained most of the weekend. It warmed up and the snow was gone. This morning no school, a few inches of snow the roads are nasty and it seems we will stuck in the winter H*** or Wonderland forever.

At least it warmed up. We had a pipe break twice with that below zero crap. So hopefully it will not get that cold again.

Oh no! I hope it passes quickly! I’m on the southwest coast of BC and we are having a dry cold-snap here, minus 10C for the week. Very unusual weather.

I hope you and your family and farmyard animals stay well and warm and dry…. and that you don’t burn yourself out! So lucky to have such good neighbors, as well as a strong and winning YOU.

Yes, weather changes fast and the snow and ice pile up quickly too! More headed my way Tuesday night.. Keep warm as possible!

Sheesh. Just what you needed, more snow.

But look on the bright side: at least you’re not still at Stringtown.

Not much mild stuff here , this winter, in Niagara Falls, Canada. The winters are usually pretty mild here… 2 or 3 serious snowfalls in winter. But we have had non stop polar weather for several weeks. Even with “milder” temps here and there, the snow has never really disappeared. And tonite, we’re supposed to get several more inches.
Hopefully, you’re catching up on your sleep,Suzanne. Sometimes, my life sounds so boring compared to yours. But all this excitement, I’m sure, you could live without! Here’s to hoping that the worst is behind you!
