Visitation

Glory Bee and I have joint custody of Beulah Petunia these days. Glory Bee is living in the goat yard because she’s still not big enough to be confined by the electric fence in BP-land, and BP trades time between BP-land and the goat yard. When she’s in BP-land, I milk her. When she’s in the goat yard, Glory Bee milks her. It’s an illegal milk-share program, alert the authorities!

There’s a lot of licking when they get together

BP says, “I missed you so much!”

And Glory Bee says, “I missed you more!”

BP: “I missed you more!”

Glory Bee: “I MISSED YOU MORE!”

Then BP licks Glory Bee’s bottom, proving who really missed who the most.

The End.

I’ve had to do a lot of strange things to help little animals over the years, including emptying and cleaning a hamster’s pouch, applying ointment to a tortoise’s, er, uh, private parts, but I’ve NEVER had to lick a bottom!!! Thank goodness! BP, you are the best!

    Wow,
GB is going to be a big girl!!!
She is losing that adorable baby girl look, and is moving into the awkward teenager state!!!
but she will be beautiful just like her mama…..

Ha ha! Love that you and BP don’t share custody of Glory Bee. Instead, it’s you and GB sharing BP. :)

The kids liked that story and the bottom licking got a chuckle cause they are boys. ;)

I love the look of total adoration on BP’s face!
And some people say that animals don’t feel love…

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
