What They Do at School Here

Jan

There’s no snow here right now. These photos were taken a few weeks ago, right before Christmas break. Morgan just gave them to me yesterday.

They were taking pictures for the Spanish class video.

Or they just had nothing else to do.

Morgan, doing her Captain Morgan stance:

After that, they hit the rum and called it a day. Why does anyone ever want high school to end????

These pictures are really cool! (Okay, pun intended.) I’m sure Morgan is light as a feather but they must be master snowman-builders there. And if I were her age, I’d want to be her BFF! Oh, to be that light-hearted!

Now I understand why she took the sombrero to school. Amanda told me that she saw Morgan walking down the hall, wearing the sombrero and Amanda said, “I love Morgan.”

Our geeky, nerdy group of kids is something crazy!

I have a picture of my daughter sitting on her snowman the exact same way as the first picture, taken about 8 or 9 years ago! That brought up a good memory, thanks! :)

:help: How’d she get up there? That is so funny and great that they can be that free to do those kinds of things at school. Must be a great school with great kiddos! I want to go to that school! Oh wait, I’m about 20 years too late…Darnit!

We didn’t get to do fun stuff in high school. No wonder I hated it.

We couldn’t have that much fun at school even if we paid for it LOL , I wish teachers had been more human then , than they are now LOL.

Oh that is funny. Must be one strong snowman! I don’t think any I’ve ever built would have stood up to such abuse. ;)

I just love Morgan, and I don’t even know her other than the fun loving personality I see in photos!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
