Bacon Ranch Sandwich Spread

My kids enjoy this spread on homemade bread, topped with a slice of tomato. Quick and easy sandwich spread for a quick and easy lunch.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: Varies depending on amount of bacon

Prep Time: 5 minutes if using pre-cooked bacon   Cook Time: None if using packaged bacon bits

Real bacon bits (or freshly cooked bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled) — I use the lower sodium variety

Ranch dressing (homemade or bottled)

Shredded cheddar or Colby cheese (optional)

Combine bacon bits and enough ranch dressing–either bottled or homemade–to get the consistency you like to spread on bread, rolls, bagels, etc.

Mix in a small amount of shredded cheddar or Colby cheese if desired.
