Baked Oatmeal

I found this recipe several years ago in my Country Woman Magazine. It takes like biting into an oatmeal cookie and taste great served with warm milk or may be eaten plain like a piece of cake. My teenage sons who aren’t crazy about cooked oatmeal love this recipe and request it several times a month.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: 9

Prep Time: 10 minutes   Cook Time: 40-45

3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melt butter
2 eggs- beaten

In a large bowl combine ingredients and mix together until blended. Spoon into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. May be served warm with milk or eaten like cake.
