I always make sweet potatoes with marshmallows every year and everybody likes them a lot. I have never actually made them this way, but I just found this recipe and this is the sweet potato dish that will grace my table this year. These just sound like they will be unbearably good. I think this could be eaten as a dessert. Can’t wait to taste them myself.
Servings: 8 - 12Cook Time: 1 hour
2 pounds sweet potatoes, cooked and drained
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
3 Tbsp butter
1 cup pecans
Put sweet potatoes, eggs, sugar, butter, milk, bourbon, and salt in food processor and puree. Pour into an oven safe dish and spread evenly. Clean out food processor and add topping ingredients. Sprinkle topping evenly on top of potatoes.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
