Cream the margarine, vanilla, sugar and then add the flour. Mix well. Put in an ungreased small cookie sheet. (Do 1 1/2 times for a large cookie sheet.) Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the top of the batter and press in. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degree F. oven or until lightly browned along the edges. Must cut while hot.
