A chocolate covered Easter egg candy.
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup soft butter
1/4 cup chopped nuts
5 maraschino cherries, chopped
1 tablespoon maraschino juice
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1 package chocolate chips, melted
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
Mix butter with juice and powdered sugar and cream well. Add remaining ingredients. Chill.
Shape into eggs about half the size of a chicken egg.
Coat with chocolate chips melted with oleo. Decorate with coconut, jelly beans, etc.
