This is an incredibly easy and yummy dish. It’s popular with company and kids the same. It’s my go-to for every “dish-to-pass” party and I always get my dish back empty!
Servings: 6Prep Time: 5 Cook Time: 35
1 can (~15oz) kernel corn, drained
1 can (~15oz) cream corn
1 box (8oz) Jiffy corn bread mix
1 tub (8oz) sour cream
1 stick of butter
1 to 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (more or less, up to you!)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Put butter into a casserole dish and place in oven until melted.
Combine kernel corn, cream corn, Jiffy mix, sour cream and butter in a large bowl. Remove casserole dish from oven and pour corn mixture into the casserole dish.
Bake for ~30 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for another five minutes or until cheese is melted.
