How to Make Echinacea Tincture

Echinacea, known for its immune system-enhancing capabilities, is especially beneficial during cold and flu season and a tincture is so easy to make!

Servings: Depend on how you take it   Prep Time: 10 minutes   Cook Time: NONE  

Ingredients

Echinacea root (Purple Coneflower root)
100 Proof Vodka (I used 151 proof Everclear)
Cheese Cloth


Directions

Put echinacea root into glass jar and cover with vodka. Put lid on and keep in a cool dark place. Shake EVERY day for SIX weeks. Remove root and store tincture in sterilized jars or containers.
