Melt butter in a large microwave-safe mixing bowl; add cream soup, Cheez-Whiz, minced onion, and milk. Microwave and stir until blended. Add rice and frozen broccoli. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.
