I have made two or three different ones, but my husband says to stick to this one! He uses it over his oatmeal!
I found this recipe somewhere on the internet….maybe Allrecipes? I use dark and light raisins, mixed dried fruits, nuts, coconut and anything else I think would be healthy and tasty.
Servings: Depends on how you use itPrep Time: 10 min. Cook Time: 40 min.
4 cups oats
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup nuts
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup water
1 cup dried fruit – (any kind you like or mixed)
Mix all. Spread on sheet cake pan. Bake at 300° about 40 minutes. Stir every 20 minutes or so.
Don’t let it get too brown, watch it closely.
