    I have tried it both ways. It does help having items canned and on the shelf. Now that I am alone, I eat out a lot with friends. Seems to be just as cheap.

    Hi Eve,
    I enjoyed your post. My husband was the same way. Couldn’t wait to taste baked things. Now I don’t enjoy cooking for myself as much. He passed away 2 1/2 years ago. I have a daughter in Roanoke Rapids NC. Are you any where close to her? I am in MN.
