What I have done is that one time while making chicken stock life got in the way and the stock boiled down way too much. I strained the stock and figured I would set it in the fridge and add water the next day to make the stock for canning. The next day after pulling out the small amount of stock I noticed that it was so geled but in tasting it it was so concentrated that I reheated it poured it into a 9 by 13 cake pan and put back in the fridge. The next day flipped the pan over onto wax paper cut into 1″ squares laid them back onto a cookie sheet and popped them into the freezer. The next day took those out and put into freezer bags. Now I have homemade bouillon cubes to use. And the best part is I know what all went into them! Hope this helps! I am not sure but you probably could spread onto parchment paper and dehydrate to make a dried version. This is on my to try list.
