I get to wake up to farm sounds. Drink cow’s milk. Eat homemade butter…and homemade cheese…and things fried in lard. My body type is not made for 30 g of fat a day. I’m going on a food vacation!
The whole week will be packed with things to learn…and food! I can’t wait for The Party food. (Can you tell I’m hungry?) There are many, many, many magnificent cooks that come to Stringtown Rising Farm and bring their wonderful food to share. I sort of plopped right near the buffet last year and just snacked or maybe that was grazed.
Just 1 of the tables of food at Party on the Farm 2010
I wonder what everyone will bring this year? Maybe one of these?
Or another one of the Side Dishes.
Or perhaps one of these Appetizers.
Or maybe one of these Desserts.
Don’t these all look good? I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
If you’re coming to The Party and bringing a dish-to-pass, will you submit the recipe to Farm Bell if it isn’t already? I would love to share with those that aren’t able to make it 🙂
