
A quick & easy appetizer to make and serve.
Especially like that it can be prepared ahead of time and warmed up the day you want to serve.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: approx 90 appetizers
Cook Time: 8-10 minutesIngredients
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 14-ounce jar pizza sauce
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano crushed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cans refrigerated flaky biscuits (10 each can)
Directions
Cook, drain, and crumble sausage.
Combine sausage,pizza sauce, onion, cheeses, oregano and garlic powder.
Separate each biscuit into 3 rounds. Top each round with about 1 tablespoon sausage mixture.
(to make ahead, place in single layer on waxed-paper lined baking sheets. Cover; freeze until firm. Transfer to freezer bags; seal and freeze.)
Place on greased baking sheet. Bake in a 425 degree oven 8-10 minutes.
Serve warm. Top with more shredded parmesan cheese. Makes approx 90
