Peach Cobbler

This yummy cobbler is also good with pears, apples, or berries.

This is my mom’s recipe.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: at least 8

Cook Time: 35 minutes

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
3 cups peaches (mix 1/2 cup sugar in peaches)
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter

Melt the butter in 9×13 pan. Mix other ingredients in bowl. Pour batter in buttered pan and top with peaches. Do not stir.

Bake at 350 degrees until brown – about 35 minutes.

Well, I have this in the oven and just realized I omitted the baking powder. This should be interesting!

Just in case anyone’s curious… was delicious although flat as a pancake due to the baking powder omission on my part. No complaints in the house though….they ate it all!
