This recipe makes the perfect chocolate chip cookies – crispy on the edges and chewy in the middles.
1 lb. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla
6 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. chocolate chips
2 c. nuts (optional)
Cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add. Stir in chocolate chips. Place tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes until edges are browned and middles are set.
