It is cool and refreshing and one way to use extra peppermint and canned grape juice that has not been drunk over winter.
Servings: makes 2 quarts
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup peppermint leaves
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 cups grape juice
12 oz. ginger ale
Cook sugar and water and pour over peppermint leaves and lemon juice. Steep for one hour. Strain and add grape juice. Chill. Before serving, add ginger ale.
