Anyone have this recipe? (I hope!!)

I have submitted a recipe for pumpkin dip that I found in Southern Lady magazine several years ago. It is similar to what you have described except that it includes some spices. These I guess could be omitted, but as written the dip is always very well recieved whenever I have served it. I usually offer a selection of gingersnaps, vanilla wafers, and graham crackers with it.

I have a dip just like you requested on my blog Gracious Rain. I’ll post it here soon. In the meantime–go here…

    Thank you, ladies!

With the spices would make it more versatile, for sure. But it certainly was good without, as long as you used gingersnaps as dippers.

Pete, I used a recipe quite similar to judydee’s in a early reader book for children. It’s a great recipe for kids (5 and up) to make with a bit of help. We suggested the dip be served with graham crackers, toast, or fresh fruit. It’s great for dipping apples and pears! But you’re right, sharp ginger snaps are the best!
