Real Cocoa in a Cup

A real easy cup of cocoa, instead of the packet stuff. This recipe was adapted from an old hot cocoa recipe from my Grammy’s 1950’s Betty Crocker cookbook.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: one

Prep Time: 1 min. or less   Cook Time: 2 min.

Ingredients

2 heaping teaspoons sugar
1 heaping teaspoons baking cocoa
2 teaspoons hot water
milk to fill cup

Directions

Mix sugar and cocoa in a microwave-safe mug. Stir in hot water till mixed. Fill cup with milk and stir. Heat two minutes in microwave. Stir. Pop in a marshmallows if you want!

Update…You can use just a regular silverware teaspoon to measure this recipe with. No need to be too specific.

Cool! Have often pondered that this was doable, but never took the time to figure it out.

    Thanks!
