This is a simple recipe that is one of my childhood comfort foods.This is really good with cottage cheese and/or a baked potato.
Servings: 4Prep Time: 15 min Cook Time: 15 min
1 box elbow macaroni
1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 chopped peppers
minced garlic to taste
1 tsp oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg hotdogs
Cook macaroni as directed on box.
Saute peppers, onions, and garlic in oil.
In large pot, heat can of stewed tomatoes.
Add sauted onions, peppers, and garlic.
Season to taste.
We slice up the cooked hotdogs into coins and add to the red-roni.
