
Tasty meat dish to put over mashed potatoes, rice or buttered noodles.

1 pound stew beef
2 cups onions, sliced
1/2 cup flour
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
Directions
Trim all fat from stew beef and cut it in one inch cubes. Coat the meat with flour, salt & pepper. Place the meat in a heavy pot or dutch oven for braising. Brown on all sides in the hot oil.
Add other spices. Cover with water, and cook at a low/medium heat until meat is tender. (2 to 2 1/2 hours). Add the onions and cover for the last 1/2 hour to cook down to a rich thickness.
