1 cup sugar
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp salt
dash ground cinnamon
2 tsp. orange juice
1 tsp orange rind
1 1/2 cups pecan pieces/halves

Combine first four ingredients in a large sauce pan and stir well. Place over medium- to medium high heat (watch carefully) and stir constantly and cook to soft ball stage (236 degrees). Stir in juice and rind. Remove from heat, add pecans and stir til coated.

Spread pecans on waxed paper and immediately separate into clusters with a spoon. Let cool. Makes: About 2 dozen (1 1/2 inch pieces).
