So if you’re new here to FBR, let me highlight some capabilities that will make browsing and using the site easier…and if you’ve been here awhile, let’s do a refresher course 🙂

Are you a lurker, but would love to join in?

Sign up (it’s free!) and join us. (Note: If you’re already registered on the Chickens in the Road blog and/or forum, you can register at Farm Bell Recipes with the same name and password.) You can also subscribe to the Farm Bell blog feed and not miss a thing!

Submit & Find Recipes

Find everything you need to know to Submit and Find Recipes on Farm Bell.

Save that favorite recipe you find to Your Recipe Box! You must be registered and signed in for your recipe box to work.

At the bottom of a recipe, you will find an option to “Add to Recipe Box”. Those recipes that are in your recipe box will have “Remove from Recipe Box”.

Submit a Blog Post to FBR

The Farm Bell Recipes blog is your community blog! It’s a place for fresh voices and new (and old) faces. A place where the community shares with the community.

Need Help Submitting a Post walks you through every step to submit a blog post. You can link your website, if you have one, on your posts, too. If you submit a blog post and it is run here on Farm Bell, you are automatically entered in the monthly giveaway for all blog contributors!

Groups!

Join different groups that you’re interested in–cheesemaking, dehydrating, gardening, photography, and many more! Don’t see a group, start one! Find everything about Groups at Groups FAQ.

Networking

Post a status once and have it published to your Twitter followers and your Facebook friends! Share with your Farm Bell friends when you post a new video to YouTube. Networking with Buddystream explains how you can set it up in your FBR profile and let it do its thing.
