The temperature got down to -10 last night in NWCT. A very still crisp friged cold.

The fuzzy part:
The kind only warm gooey chocolate chip cookies an electric blanket and reruns of Monk – Mary Tyler Moore and Rhoda could fix.
Love those goofy old shows!

The pampered part:
I was given a gift certificate for a first time manicure as a Christmas gift from a concerned friend that feels i dont get out enough. God bless her lil ole soul!

So i made a day of it drove into town grabed lunch shopped and got my first manicure!

WOW! IT WAS REALLY GREAT! They even treated me to a heated neck role and a chair massage with aroma therapy! Ahh!
I cant wait for next Christmas!

Just wondering if anyone else gives their dogs a massage or if i am the only crazy one?

Bow wow ahh!
The only thing better then one pup is two!

My old dog would never lay long enough through a massage….the beginnings of a petting and she would just want to turn around and love all over me.

But I have now become a crazy cat lady with the adopting of my first cat….Fred, and he loves when I give him massages.  He will lay there for 10 minutes while I massage all of him but his belly.  Once I start stroking his belly, he wants to playfight.

happy-flower Our “baby” is a total lap pup, never on the floor, she has to be on our lap, she loves to have her ears and back rubbed and slowly she will turn over on her back and want her belly rubbed, and if you should stop before she thinks you should she pokes you with her paw until you start again.pawprint

I have type 2 diabetes and use this to justify having a pedicure every two weeks. I have yet to find a good excuse for having my fingernails done at the same time.

My prince charming took a wrong turn, got lost, and is too stubborn to ask for directions.

I need pampering when i am stressed or overwhelmed. So i usually get into the bush with my dogs, and walk, just being in nature with my dogs, no humans (the usual cause of stress) and i soak up nature.

Or a shower with special occasion soap. Homemade by another as ive yet to learn how.
